Best Fuel Prices on the Water

The best fuel prices on the water continues to be at All Seasons Marina. How do we know that? Simple. Each week we survey neighboring fuel docks to determine prices being charged and then we make sure ours are lower. Our pricing philosophy centers around volume. We would rather give up some profit margin to sell more gas. You win every time you fill up at All Seasons Fuel Dock.

ValvTect GasThe Fuel Dock remains open year around and sells only ValvTect Marine Gasoline and Diesel Fuel. The fuels are custom formulated with marine additives to manage and prevent moisture associated with ethanol blended gasolines. The Fuel Dock is open from 8am to 4:30pm weekdays and 8am to 6pm on weekends. If there is no attendant when you arrive, use your cell phone to call the Marina at 609-390-1850 or use the intercom on the dock.

New Breakwater

Breakwater Construction Completed

In the midst of the worst recession since the Great Depression, All Seasons Marina bucked the trend and made a major financial commitment to its future. After years of planning and permit approvals, construction is now complete on a project that will benefit the Marina and all our customers for years to come.

Construction is now finished on a comprehensive breakwater along the northeast side of our site in order to protect the Marina and all our slipholders from the severe wave action that normally accompanies wind driven storms like Nor'easters. Over the past couple of decades pounding waves have damaged boats, floating docks and bulkheads at least a dozen times and have cost millions to repair. The new breakwater was constructed with the latest environmentally friendly materials. It was made entirely of vinyl-coated, pressure treated timber that is non-polluting.

"We're spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to protect our property and that of our customers," says All Seasons Marina owner Brian Tersaga. "We are fighting back against the power of Mother Nature" he says with a determined grin, "and this time we have the winning strategy. The new breakwater, combined with other capital improvements recently completed and those still in progress, brings our total investment to nearly one million dollars."

Marina Dredging Update
The dredging of the entire marina is now about half finished. We took advantage of the early winter months to dredge all slips throughout the Marina prior to our permit window closing. Dredging of all fairways will start when our permit window reopens on June 1st. We apologize for the obvious inconvenience the dredging will have but we are at the mercy of the state and federal permitting process. The good news is that once completed, we will have the deepest water marina in the greater Ocean City area.

New Roof on Main Storage Building
A brand new roof has been installed on the Main Rack Storage Building. In the planning for more than a year, we are extremely pleased to report that the new roof is now 100% complete. Rack storage customers should now have a drip free environment.

Boating Safety Means Being Prepared
At the start of each season it's a good idea to check your flares to make sure they haven't expired. The Coast Guard will again be making random stops for safety checks. In addition to flares, fire extinguisher and an operating horn, they check for the proper number and type of Personal Flotation Devises (PFDs), current registration, and a valid Boating Safety Certificate. It's also a good idea to start the season off with a fresh set of docklines. Our Ships Store has a good supply of all the items you will need to stay safe on the water.

2011 Fishing Limits

Good News for Flounder Fishermen
While many of us thought that NJ fishing limits were going to be tightened even further, just the opposite has happened. Summer Flounder (Fluke) possession limits have increased this year from six fish to eight fish with the minimum size remaining the same at 18 inches. The season has also been increased by a couple weeks on either end and now runs from May 7 to September 25.

For more information on all the size and possession limits click on the fish photo to get your very own copy of the 2011 NJ Recreational Minimum Size, Possession Limits & Seasons.
