In the
fishing and boating world the name Buddy Davis is legendary. Forty
years of building boats and fishing the challenging waters off North
Carolina’s Outer Banks has taught him how to build a seaworthy
boat that can also keep its occupants dry.
Perhaps best known for his 60’ and 68’ sportfishing yachts,
Buddy and his B&D Boatworks are now producing sleek 28’
and 34’ bluewater, center console boats for the serious boater
and fisherman. Both models feature his trademark deep V hull and Carolina
flared bow and are guaranteed to provide the lucky owners with a distinctive,
comfortable ride.
Power Galore
When powered with twin Mercury Verado engines, these Buddy Davis Edition
boats are capable of 40 knots of cruising speed and can get you to
the prime fishing grounds and back again quickly and safely.
The standard power package on the 28’ includes twin 225 hp Mercury
Verado engines and on the 34’ you’ll get twin 275 hp Mercury
Verado engines. Read
more about Verado.
Common Sense Layout
Both boats are packed with storage space. Large fish boxes, livewells
and coolers are sure to please the serious fisherman and the novice
alike. Fresh water and saltwater washdown systems with 25’ hoses
are standard. So are two deep cycle starting batteries and a deep
cycle house battery along with a 3 bank battery charger.
At first glance, one can easily tell these unique boats are designed
by boaters and fishermen.
